Health tip from Bally Totally Fitness
So I’ve been getting these health tips from Bally’s as of late and they’re actually pretty good so I thought I’d pass this one along!
Quick Facts about Warming Up and Cooling Down
- Most people associate warm-ups with cardiovascular workouts. You should also warm up before strength-training workouts.
- At the end of a cardio workout, you should gradually decrease your exercise intensity; do not stop abruptly.
Cool-downs help prevent muscle soreness, dizziness and fainting.
